pptpd start failed

hallo leute,

problem wie im titel.
habe mir ein neues image für meinen 701v gebastelt (freetz 1.2, svn up, alien 7170, replace kernel).
alles funktioniert bis auf pptpd. :-( per telnet auf die box, ./usr/sbin/pptpd bringt mir /etc/pptpd.conf nicht gefunden. ist da beim erstellen was schief gegangen?

Du sollst das ja auch nicht per Telnet aufrufen. Nutz das Webinterface damit er auch den korrekten Pfad zur Konfigurationsdatei nimmt.

Ein start im Webinterface bringt diesen Fehler nicht! Wenn du es mal probiert hättest, würdest du sehen, dass der Aufruf per telnet "pptpd -c /etc/ppp/pptpd.conf" lauten sollte.

Danke Ralf, das wars. Hatte einen Syntaxfehler in der conf (IP-Bereich). Von nem Windows PC kann ich jetzt connecten. Mein Smartphone mit Android 2.3.6 klappt leider nicht.

da sagts mir verschlüsselungsproblem

Das Problem ist in beiden Fällen MPPE.
Ohne Verschlüsselung wird die Verbindung abgewiesen, die Meldung von wegen Passwort stimmt nicht:

ps: ohne mppe klappt es, läuft aber auch irgendwie nicht stabil die sache.

wenn ich jetzt noch mein handy dazu bringe übers vpn über die fritzbox zu telefonieren, dann hab ichs so wie ich es haben wollte.

Mit PPTP bzw. PPP kann man keine Default-Route an die Clients pushen. Da solltest Du Dir vielleicht mal OpenVPN anschauen.

openvpn läuft ja schon. dachte ich könnte damit das problem umgehen, das z.b. sipdroid nicht die ip des tap0 sondern des eth0 übergibt.
