Not really, but you could compare settings with FTP or TELNET and adjust your dead Box and then recover again. With the other boxes just recover 29.04.01, then update with the annexA_kernel_args tar-file then [after checking the webinterface saying it is Annex A] update to any German version...

@Flashink This all seems quit allright to me; the recovery seems to be successfull Was your Firewall deactivated while recovering ? Did you play the recovery whilst connected by LAN-cable to LAN1 on the box ? Have you tried connecting to the box thru your webbrowser by direct IP-address...

No this does not go thru Telnet or FTP Try and reset your 7170 by telephone Just enter: #991*15901590* and see if this will reset the box enough. Edit: Marsupilami was quicker as usual ;)
