Hi booyip, I have converted the German 7240 and 7270 1&1 to annexe A, I know you can do these and the speedport 920 V are also possible (which will be my next project) I have no experience with the 7390 however.
The RJ11 will just fit inside the RJ45 and it is configured correctly, so just stick your usual lead in an bobs your uncle. The outer two pins of the RJ45 socket are for analogue pstn lines. So if you wanted to use the dect facility with your traditional analogue line then you could modify the Y cable or make your own from an ethernet cable.
Personallly I would opt for the speedport or 7270 (speedport if you want vdsl, it effectively is a 7570) as they are a safe bet. they are wonderful boxes, have had mine for a couple of years now, and they have so many amazing features for voip, NAS, call forwarding, switchboard, I use mine with Pennytel, MNF, sipgate and save bundles!
cheers
Wayne
