Do you want to use it for a German DSL provider ? Or for another country ?

Germany it's D7A, for the other parts of Europe it's POTS D1A and for ISDN D3A.

However when I try to flash 340ADV2C0.rom using atlc it responds with:

At what I was told the two models are hardware compatible... but the memory is not allocated on the same way on these 2 models...

I don't have any of these 2 ADSL modems... so I cannot check and I had no boot loader as well as no table of used memory parts...

Did you got them ? Can you email me them ?

Dump the Bootrom and get the whole memory organisation list with the AT command : ATMP

I changed back to 0077, dumped ras and rom-0 using TFTP.
I also sent you the full ATMP output.
Is Rom-0 the boot rom or do I have to get it seperately?

You are very lucky to be back to 0077, some people were not able to return having the firwmware "broken".

The ras and rom files are the firmware and the user confirguation... not the bootrom.

The boot rom is available via the cable, perhaps you can also via the normal telnet connection, you need to dump a part of the memory with an extra command as indicated on the pdf below.

Naturally the memory position and the lenght depend of the memory table you have been able to have via the ATMP command.

I already dumped it and emailed it to you, if you mean the area labeled "bootbas" in ATMP. I'll take some photos and email them to you, as well as upload the whole package somewhere for future generations

One thing I noticed is that the bootrom from P-2602HWNLI-D7A_340ADV2C0 is smaller (104kb) compare to the one I dumped (192Kb).

As promised I made a clean (reset) dump of the latest firmware, dated 18.01.2008.
I also attached the dumps toysoft requested in case anybody else is interested in them.

verfolge auch Eure Arbeit an o2-Router. Ich habe bei mir den 2602 von o2 liegen, absolut neu und noch nie angeschaltet. würde euch gern helfen, weiß aber nicht wie ich daie firmware ablesen kann.

Du kannst gar nix erweitern weil man die Originalversion gar nicht auf der Kiste installieren kann. Zumindest nicht, ohne dass uns jemand mit den gefragten Infos aus der Original-Kiste versorgt.

Die 2602 von O2 helfen uns überhaupt nix, davon haben wir 4 Stück (ich einen, Toysoft 3).

@Toysoft: Translation: magnitka also has an O2 device and was just asking if the firmware could be changed to support 5-6 sips. I told him that we currently can't even install it.

eigentlich braucht man keine neue Firmware. Man kann alles über telnet eintragen icl. WAN habe heute probiert mit ALICE-DSL und klappt ohne Probleme. Verbindung + Geschwindigkeit i.O.

Hallo wie genau trage ich die WAN einstellungen ein mit Telnet + Zugangsdaten? Ich habe nähmlich auch die neuste Firmware und den reiter (WAN) gibts leider nicht mehr und ich bin jetzt bei Versatel würde es gern damit nutzen den Router gibts da eine genaue Anleitung zu? wen einer Helfen könnte wäre ich sehr dankbar würde den router gerne weiter nutzen

Hallo wie würden die Befehle für ein t-online anschluss assehen?

Anschlusserkennug, t-online nummer, mitbenutzernummer ?

Besser wäre entbranden aber geht wohl nicht.
