Hallo,
Set-up:
Dahua VTO-device: VTO2111D-WP
Software Version Info: 2020-03-11 V4.300.0000003.0.R
MCU Version Info: 2019-02-25
Fritz!Box: 7560 with DECT and LAN IP-phones (PHON1 used for FAX)
FRITZ!OS: 07.12
Synology DS-718+ with Surveillance Station.
VTO Software is unstable, seems like stack overflow; reboots whenever too many devices address the VTO (also web interface). It looks like in a Dahua Villa surveillance system the minimum is implemented to fulfill the needs of that system (closed environment compromise).
VTO as SIP client for Fritz!Box seems least demanding for VTO, but the device turns out to become unstable, and with the Fritz!Box constraints (such as 8-position account) the set-up is non-intuitive. Therefore I choose to add an extra telephone number to the Fritz!Box, which gives me detailed control over what phones should respond to the doorbell, and so forth. Only drawback: direct video call is not possible via Fritz!Box.
Only functional settings are explained here; other details such as Video & Audio, System, IP address, Language etc. can be adjusted later.
Remarks:
192.168.1.109 == VTO IP address
192.168.1.254 == Fritz!Box iP address
- Start with VTO in factory settings
- Local Setting: disable Group Call
Wait for VTO to be rebooted.
- Network Setting: disable P2P
- Fritz!Box: Telephony > Telephone Numbers > New Telephone Number

There is still some non-essential fine-tuning to do, but this set-up will be mounted as it's stable for a while now on my workbench. Whenever the doorbell is pressed, all selected phones will ring (per phone setting), and I can pick up any phone to have a voice conversation.
As for video, I use tinyCam. This Android app recognizes the camera as DH-SD59225U-HNI, and gives live views, also during a front door call. I use the Fritz!Box Fon app to accept the hands-free call on my mobile, so I can simultaneously observe my visitor.
I also have Synology Surveillance Station running, where I successfully added this same camera. This package ensures recording of audio and video, so I don't need FTP or SD-card functionality.
