Speed To Fritz Problem

Hi everybody
I have also followed Inagomundis recommendations and made from first 73.04.80 and 2nd = 54.04.76.en-de-es-it-fr with sp2f a new firmware for my firtzbox 7240. Works great synchronizes but there's no english interface!!!!!
I have an english windows and great problems getting the USB utilities to work with a german GUI.
What did I do wrong? Here my steps:
1. S2f Expert view
2. FB 7240 and 73.04.80 firmware
3. 54.04.76.en-de-es-it-fr 2nd firmware
4. Force Multiannex, select multilanguage from 2nd firmware, take (v) dsl software from 2nd firmware
5. run the thing and then upload still under linux onto my GUI thru firmware update.
As I said: DSL runs great after selecting Annex a but no english interface.
Any help would be very welcome

What did I do wrong? Here my steps:

Sounds all good - one doubt: Does the 7240 also have 16 mb? Did you upload the kernel.image directly to your box through ftp as suggested at the end of sp2fr process? Another try: Store the modded fw first on a USB stick (or on your Windows PC) and upload it from there. These are my only suggestions.

Yes, all FB7240 have 16 MB as flash memory.

I tried more or less the same, but removed the German language (or changed English to default can't exacly remember). Not everything seems been translated, but most is.

There's a feature in sp2fr "single language". I never tried this - so I'm not sure if you would have to choose first "multilanguage" and later in sp2fr menu ENGLISH as single language (this is the way I would try it) or if you may choose directly English as "single language" without choosing multi-language first.
