Fritz!box 7330 SL keine festnetz

Hello I have the Fritzbox 7330 SL, AVM Branded, firmware version FRITZ.Box_7330_SL.116.06.03.image this box does not have the function "Activate Festnetz" there for I can not input my festnetz telephone numbers. with some ones kind help this is what I would like to do.

AVM has the same box Fritzbox 7330 without the (SL) , AVM Branded, firmware version FRITZ.Box_7330.107.06.03.image this box has settings for FESTNETZ. I want to find a way to import the firmware from the 7330 into the 7330SL or convert the 7330SL into a 7330. Thanks for reading. I could use all the help I can get. Your request in this asterisk forum part doesn't make sense at all. Even if you would be able to put the other firmware onto your fritzbox, the box wouldn't anymore because of not existing hardware parts.
So, simply forget about it. Instead, you should have explained what your plans are with this fritzbox.

Thanks for your fast answer I just signed up to today, still finding my way around but I learn fast. I have three telephone numbers and wanted to use the fritzbox 7330 SL like I do with my 7270 telefon anloger for festnetz numbers I didn't see that D&%$AM SL. I read about the box on the avm website has all I needed, I also Read here http://www.wehavemorefun.de/fritzbox/Branding that the 7330 and the 7330 SL are the same boxs just branded one by AVM and one by 1und1. But if not I'll just sell it and get the one I need. Thanks any way.

You've got it wrong. It's not written there.

Ein neues Einsteigermodell für ADSL-Anschlüsse, vorgestellt im März 2011. Die 7330 ist weitgehend funktionsgleich zur 7320, unterstützt jedoch zusätzlich Analog-Festnetztelefonie und ist im Gegensatz zur 7320 auch über den Fachhandel erhältlich. Zum Marktstart im Oktober 2011 liegt der Preis bei 149 Euro UVP, die aktuelle deutschsprachige Firmware ist Multi-Annex fähig. 1&1 liefert derzeit eine Variante ohne Festnetz als den Homeserver 7330 SL aus. Trotz eigener Firmware ist die SL-Variante ansonsten funktionsgleich und bedarf daher keiner getrennten Dokumentation.

(es gab eine Ausnahme die 7170 bzw. 7170SL - hier war "im Prinzip" nur ein anderes Kabel bei der Auslieferung)

Da 7330 und 7330 SL nicht baugleich sind, ist das Verhalten absolut nachvollziehbar. Der "SL" fehlen schlichtweg die Bauteile für Festnetz. Sieht man deutlich, wenn man die Platinen nebeneinander hat ;-)

Hello Emac,

to say it clear: 7330 and 7330 SL are identical except one fact: The 7330 SL does not have the technical features to work with "analog festnetz" , plain old telephone service. In post #6 the statement is wrong. And even flashing the 7330 SL with the 7330 firmware cannot solve this problem without the necessary hardware inside.

That means if you use an analog Festnetzanschluss you cannot use a 7330 SL. But you can use a 7330, 7270, 7272 or 7390 (7490) instead. They all provide the support for "Festnetztelefonie". But you can use all of them for VOIP (Internet telephony) including the 7330 SL.

The statement "ohne Festnetz ... ansonsten funktionsgleich" is correct.

No, you didn't get the point. ISDN hardware does not exist in both Fritzbox 7330 and 7330SL. It's the POTS hardware what's missing in the Fritzbox 7330SL.

LOL without the pots and pans you get know isdn, Forget about me and hardware. All I wanted to do is replace my 7270 that has worked since 2005. If it's working don't fix it.

The Fritzbox 7270 was introduced at Cebit 2007.

7330SL = DSL+VoIP + (intern) analoges Telefon
7330 = analog* +DSL+VoIP + (intern) analoges Telefon
* = einer der wenigen Boxen, die sowieso kein ISDN-/S0-Anschluss hat, weder extern noch intern

du musst dir also einfach ein anderes Modell aussuchen
