Hello,
Sorry, my German isn't that good so i rather speak english to make myself clear, i hope this is not a problem. The other day i was playing around with my old 7170 first trying to install OpenWRT on it, without succes and flashed it back to the orignal firmware using adam ftp and i could acces the original firmware again.
Somehow after repeating the procure a few times with different builds of OpenWRT i must have accidently touched something essential and now the modem starts booting, but after a while it shuts down a reboots again. My guess is that mtd3 and/or mtd4 are damaged. I hooked up a serial cable this is the printenv output:
When i try to recover with the recovery .exe file from avm it says the firmware is not compatible with the recovery firmware. Is there any way to find out if mtd3/4 are damaged and how can i recover them. I don't have any backup files of these partitions.
I can still ftp to adam ftp during startup so i can flash the mtd if needed. If you wish i can include a dump of the boot sequence from serial console.
Could anyone help me recover this box?
