Hi,
I bought this 7590 on ebay as faulty just for fun. As described by the seller, it is actually in bootloop.
So, first thing, I try to use the recovery exe from avm ... and everything was ok. But it still is in a bootloop.

Anyway I soldered the uart pins and so this is the log:

While I suspect the former owner did some tinkering with it already ("linux_fs_start" should be there, either "0" or "1"), the message in bold seems to report a hardware defect.

Do you suspect it changed the booloader? Because, I use recovery exe from avm to restore the firmware 8.02.

Second part.
 
As you can see in the log, the driver starts 4 attempts to initialize and gives up after the fourth attempt failed, too. The FPGA does not work as expected - the only option would be a customized firmware without telephony functions and then it's still not sure, that the rest of the system will work.

Any other attempt to fix it (by replacing the component) is IMHO a case of (further) wasted money - replacing the FPGA (it's a BGA chip AFAIK) is much more challenging (even if you could get the required spare parts) than replacing some voltage regulators.
 
I check the board with the thermal camera. The telephony chip, dialog sc14446 has a specific point getting hot. This is a good sign it's faulty. I have a lot of experience with boards of various type (gpu, motherboard, etc ..) ... when a corner is much hotter of the rest of the chip, there is damage.
So, maybe, I should try to find the psu for that chip and disabling it. Alternatively, I can desoldering the chip.
