sorry, hier das log.
jedesmal, wenn ich den stick von der fb 7170 zurück ans notebook hänge mach er von sich aus nen check. meldet aber keine fehler.

log scheint aber auf fehler hinzuweisen. die werden dann aber wohl von der fb erzeugt.

wäre fat32 "nativ" ohne fuse? oder nur ext2?

FAT32 und EXT2 sind beide native. Auch fast alle anderen Dateisysteme.

Wobei ich ext2 empfehlen würde, denn das ist ein Filesystem, was auch mit Datei- und Verzeichnisrechten klarkommt.

EXT2 ist vermutlich auch das effizienteste.

Aber wenn die I/O Fehler oben tatsächlich ein Hardware-Problem sind, wird das auch nicht nützen.

Ich denke nicht, dass das ein Hardwareproblem ist, sondern eher, dass es ein Problem mit der Implementierung von NTFS ist. Diesen Fehler hab ich schon mal irgendwo hier gesehen in den letzten Wochen, und denke, dass es eben eher daran liegt.
Interessant wäre, was die zukünftige Version von ntfs-3g dazu zu "sagen" hat. Mal gucken, was die released wird, die RC zumindest sieht vielversprechend aus.

es gibt ja auch eine alternative zu ntfs-3g, die z.b. bei enigma2 bei dreamboxen/kathrein benutzt wird. ist sehr viel performanter als das ntfs-3g. gibt eine kostenpflichtige und eine kostenlose version.


ext2 nutze ich persönlich nicht mehr, weils nru probleme auf windows rechnern macht. kann garnicht zählen wie oft ich dann schon bluescreens wegen konflikten hatte, weil die ext2 treiber sich dann mit anderen treibern gebissen haben.
nie wieder.

Was ja kein Problem miit ext2 an sich ist, sondern eher mit Windows und deren (beinahe) wöchentlichen Umdispositionen der kompletten API.

Von Linux und co wird erwartet, ntfs lesen uz können, anders herum aber nicht ist irgendwie eine Doppelmoral, der ich nicht folgen kann.

Man kann Windows eine Menge vorwerfen, aber regelmäßiges Verwerfen der API (oder der ABI) gehört nicht dazu. Das Festhalten an alten ABIs ist eine der Stärken (und eine Quelle von Problemen) bei Windows.

Findest du? Ich find, die hauewn einfach zu viel über den Haufen, oder verschlimmbessern so, dass einem die Haare zu Berge stehen. Vor allem im Bereich von .net ist es der blanke Horror. Aber gut, wird zu OT, von daher lasse ich das hier mal weiter.

EDIT:
fat32 problem gelöst. die fb 7170 war nicht in der lage den 8gb stick ausreichend mit strom zu versorgen.
bei vollast wurde der stick wohl unterversorgt, getrennt, und dann wieder eingebunden, weil er nach der trennung ja kaum strom zieht. erst wieder, wenn ein client darauf zugreift.

aktiver hub und die sache ist erledigt.
