2.13 + 2.12(opgave SMC)

1. Kernel DNS cache never expired: there are two DNS cache. One, A, is used for the AP of Router, the other, B, is for DNS proxy at the LAN side. Cache B (DNS proxy) has expired time mechanism, but cache A doesn't. And the source of cache B is from cache A. So when the entries of DNS proxy expired, DNS proxy always update them, and it is no problem, but the data is from the old data of cache A. Then DNS proxy always obtains out-of-date data.
2. Fragmentation issue in ppp mode: When WAN protocol is PPPoE or PPPoA, one host at WAN side pings WAN IP of IAD with large payload, ex 1600, Modem doesn't response.
3. QoS module may under-estimate transmission time of some packets of specific sizes. It results in an increasing delay of voice traffic when using that specific size packets to congest WAN uplink.
4. Fixed LAN DHCP server can't release expired IP due to it stored the wrong leased time.

Problems fixed:
1. Update TR69 module and httpd module.
2. Update Voice module:
a. While CPE is caller, support the attribute, silenceSupp: off
- - -
-, sent from callee. It is to disable VAD.
b. Fixed FAX call issue.
3. Add CRC tag in the content of firmware to prevent invalid firmware.
4. Update DNS proxy:
a. Fixed DNS proxy doesn't work when one VLAN profile doesn't contain any LAN interfaces.
b. Fixed DNS proxy records incorrect IP when PC sends PTR-type DNS query due to endian issue.
5. Fixed some GUI issues.
6. Fixed firewall SPI bugs. When there are many sessions of SPI for UDP traffic due to run P2P software, SIP session may be overwritten. Then it will make CPE treat VoIP traffic as UDP flooding attack and VoIP service can't work. It may fix 'In progress' issue.

2.11:

1. Fixed CLI command bugs:
a. The name of USB interface is invalid.
b. 'system adsl_mode' command: Add ADSL mode: ADSL2 and ADSL2+ in Annex B FW.
2. Update TR69 module.
3. Update ADSL driver and datapump code 7.0.4.0 for Annex A/B.
FW for Annex A also supports Annex M.
4. Fixed bug if there are two VC, and one is MER or PPPoA and it is
disconnect, it will make DNS and NTP function doesn't work.
5. Fixed a potential issue at retransmission, which will cause lots of
retransmission packets then slow connection, especially at slow link
such as ADSL uplink.
6. Update firewall module.
7. Fixed bug when WAN is MER, and DHCP client, unplug and plug ADSL
line, SIP fail to register again.
8. Update UI pages and fixed some bugs.
9. Fixed bug SDP via VC2 issues.
10. Fixed bugs if user set up any VC as 1483 bridging at the last step,
CPE doesn't provide Web remote management.
11. Can't bind LAN1 to other VLAN group, except Default VLAN. It is
because some services of IAD don't work while bind LAN1 to other VLAN. After
upgrading to this FW, FW will bind LAN1 to Default VLAN automatically.

1. Updated WEB UI:
a. Added and modified description of VoIP Settings
b. Added ISP: Versatel-PPPoE
c. Fixed spelling wrong of ISP name: Strencom
d. After finishing setup wizard, ‘Status’ page will be displayed.
2. Use new VP101 FW, and fixed bugs sometimes only one side can hear voice.
3. Fixed ringing problem. When unplugging ADSL line, one call to PSTN doesn’t make the phone connected to FXS ring.

8. Delete automatically all emergency call dial plans after upgrading from 2.07 or older version. To fix if users change the call number of 112 & 999 emergency calls in FW 2.05 or older version, there are one or two dialing plans being unable to delete in 2.06 or newer version.

1. Added SNMP mode options: Disabled, LAN only, WAN only, and WAN+LAN.
2. Changed factory default settings:
a. UPnP: disabled
b. WAN: PPPoE LLC, 0/32. PPPoE username/password set to: username/password
c. SNMP: LAN only. Note: after upgrading from old version to FW 2.07, it sets automatically to this setting if SNMP function is enabled originally.
3. Added VoIP provider: Netcall, and renamed all of their names.
4. Added one ISP in Netherlands: 'Pretium Telecom ADSL2+' for Annex A & B

"Aufspielen" ist ja an sich keine schlechte Idee, zumal offensichtlich das Problem des Zu-leise-Hörens beim Gesprächspartner nicht mehr auftritt - bei mir zumindest nicht

Wenn ich den bootloader einspiele von SMC:iad-boot_v0.69d.0 dann könnte ich auch die Firmware von Siemens 1.67 Firmware nutzen, oder muss ich wieder bootloader von Siemens einspielen?????

Noch eine frage, gibt’s auch was für den Siemens S555 WLAN DSL von SMC???

Laut diversen Aussagen hier im Forum funktioniert die Siemens-Firmware auch mit dem bootloader 0.69d.0, sprich du musst keinen anderen aufspielen.

PSTN und Accountwahl mit FW2.08 möglich

Hallo, ich hätte da gern mal zwei Fragen:

1.Frage: Ist eigentlich mit der SMC Firmware die Wahl des VOIP Accounts bei der Anwahl möglich. Also man hat z.B. 3x Sipgate eingestellt und 1xdus als 4ten Account. Nun sollen die VOIp Gespräche über den 4ten Account getätigt werden (von Phone 1 oder 2). Ist dies möglich?

2.Frage:Wenn ich da Handbuch von SMC richtig verstehe, ist die ...B Variante mit 2 Phone Ports (IN) ausgestattet, der externe Line Port fehlt aber (Festnetzt OUT). Kann man trotzdem von Phone 1 oder 2 über Festnetzt wählen und dies auch ohne Wahlregel? Also wie bei eyebeam z.B. mit #1 Provider 1 und #0 Festnetzt (dies geht natürlich nicht bei eyebeam)?

In der 2.08 ist ja auch noch der Bootloader drin. Ist das der, der sowieso drauf ist, wenn man 2.0x hat?

Weil er ja jetzt 0.69d.0 heißt. Vorher war's afaik ohne ".0"

Edit: Hat sich erledigt. Ist die selbe Version. Ist nur für die 1.x'er dabei.

Wie stehts mit der 2.09? Funktioniert die immer noich nicht bei dir, Flieger? Hat jemand die ans Laufen bekommen?

also ich habe die einfach runtergeladen (isdn version) und habe die installiert. bis jetzt null probleme! mir ist bis jetzt nichts negatives aufgefallen.

Ich glaub ich teste die auch mal nächste Woche. Kann ja eigentlich nicht sein dass da VoIP nicht mehr läuft.

Wie ist das eigentlich, setzt ihr den Router nach einem Update auf Werkseinstellungen zurück? Ist das empfehlenswert?

mein VOIP Anbieter ist freenet. bin mit dem zu 100% zufrieden. bis jetzt noch nicht einmal ein problemm gehabt.

nach update habe ich bis jetzt noch nie auf werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt.

Weshalb ist die neue Firmware nicht unter SMC.COM zu erhalten ??

Ich verstehe nicht, dass die neueste Firmware zuerst unter SOLCON.NL
zu erhalten ist.
Nichts gegen unsere niederländische Fussball-Freunde ,
aber ist dies jeweils eine offizielle Version ?

Oder ist SOLCON.NL die Software-Schmiede fuer SMC ??
