Please Help Me on IP RFP32

I have buy a IP RFP32 but is not compatible with RFP L32 IP .
Someone know if is possible change the IP RFP32 software/firmware
with the RFP L32 IP software ?
If yes , where I can find to downloads it ?

firmware must always be loaded via tftp on every reboot
i'm not sure if you can load sip firmware on a device sold as rfp32 without L

just try it, firmware is availible here

you'll still have to buy the software cd as it includes a PARK (a unique ID for your DECT-System)

the cd won't help you if you can't reach the web interface.

every shop which sells rfp32l should also sell the cd

Just read the manual of RFP L32 IP and follow it.

Firmware must be deployed via a TFTP-Server on every boot of the RFP.

Hy Paulo,

the RFP L 32 IP has nearly the same Hardware / Flash like the RFP 32 IP.
But it is not destined to "update" a RFP 32 IP to a L one.
And only with the L Version you can run the SIP Software stream.
The RFP 32IP (none L) is only for AASTRA PBX Software versions and OEM.

For all RFP 3x IP you will need a TFTP Server (and optional a DHCP Server).

I was able to load the "L" firmware into the "RFP 32IP" but, I wasn't able to get successfull SIP connections with that.

Hi,

it is possible to load any of the different firmware streams into all of the RFPs.
A booter setting says that a specific RFP ist a RFP L3xIP or not.
Only the RFP L3xIP can be used for DECT over SIP.
With the RFP 3xIP (without "L") the booter embeded licence ist missing.

All Aastra-DeTeWe DECT Systems are in the one or the other way licenced. Either by a central licens key based in the OMM for DECT systems like the OEM versions or in the PBX like the OpenCom versions.

As we decided to make handling easier for DECT over SIP without TAD/TAN/Licences Server handling we introduced the RFP carrying the licence directly from production. The RFP L3xIP are some EUROs more expensive than those without "L". So the non "L" RFPs cannot be used with DECT over SIP because they are missing the necessary licence.
