FRITZ!Box Fon 7170 - VOIP Domain settings

Hello,

i have a problem to set up the domainname of my VOIP provider into Fritz.

My settings are:
Internettelefonie-Anbieter: Anderer Anbieter
Internetrufnummer xxxxxx

Anmeldedaten, die Ihnen Ihr Internettelefonie-Anbieter mitgeteilt hat:
Benutzername xxxxxx
Kennwort xxxxx
Kennwortbestätigung xxxxx
Registrar voip.belgacom.be
Proxy-Server voip.belgacom.be:5060
STUN-Server (no)
Internetrufnummer für die Anmeldung verwenden


My connection with IPness and the Fritz 7170 WORKS OK
My connection and account is OK
The test wit a Philips Multimodem from Belgacom and my belgacom i-talk settings works
The test with Siemens Gigaset S450 IP and my belgacom i-talk settings works
When i change te domain name in those two units i get the same problem - error 404
Those 2 have a setting possibility for DOMAIN NAME but i dont know how to set these in FRITZ 7170 - ther is no field to put these in.

Can somone solve this problem :noidea:

Hello Bengel62,

welcome to our forum... ;-)

Are you sure that you do need a proxy? My provider needs the Registrar-entry only.
Is your login name the same as your internet number?

Try to use not voip.belgacom.be but belgacom.be and leave blank your proxy entry.

Hi Bengel62,

If I look at this settings and you tell me that they don't work I would suggest to try two possible changes:

1st:

Try to enter the Proxy server address without :5060

Proxy-Server voip.belgacom.be:5060


2nd:

use the following setting only if you are certain that you need it.

Internetrufnummer für die Anmeldung verwenden
