I managed to create a complete guide about the how-to process and all the files required to do it!

Congratulation for your work, but to go further I will recommend to use danisahne-mod to do it right.

Yours is downgradable mod to accept the EN firmware on DE FB 7050 box and you will get stuck with the old EN firmware and that's it.

Better way to do is

1. Use Cygwin (to make modable things)
2. Use Danisahne-mod to unpak/repack the firmware (as you aleardy have both the (old) EN firmware and the (newest) DE firmware
3. Som modification on the scripts of Danisahne-mod to let DE 7050 accepts the EN language module

When you do it you get a working en.14.04.15 firmware with all the new updates.
The firmware is acceptable for all versions avm, avme, freenet, 1und1, arcor and aol; AnnexB and AnnexA too.

Thats a good alternative method but this way I think that the new options will remain in their own (German) language. It is also a hybrid witch makes it more dangerous for the box in my opinion.

If you can provide me with some info on how to do it, it could happen. Also have in mind that I do not know what modification has been done in the modified firmware in order the box to accept it.

I'm no programmer. I've just created the guide in order to help people that are searching here and there like I was!

I am sorry I had to remove the link because the package contained a ready modified firmware image.

It doesn't matter if you upload the file in this forum or if you post a link to that file.

You can host a script which merges two original images or modifies one original image like danisahne does. But we have to remove links to complete images.
