Hallo, was bedeuten denn im Syslog folgende Einträge?

Code:
Feb 15 04:24:42 fritz user.warn kernel: [speedup] -> 62.5 MHz
Feb 15 04:26:52 fritz user.warn kernel: [speedup] -> 125 MHz
Feb 15 04:27:54 fritz user.warn kernel: [speedup] -> 62.5 MHz
Feb 15 04:28:49 fritz user.warn kernel: [speedup] -> 125 MHz

Keine Angst, das ist nur das Powermanagment der Box. Vollkommen harmlos.

Grüße

My 7140 shows those changes in speed rarely, and stays always on 125mhz, is there a way to force it to underclock (to save power) or overclock (cpu is 200mhz, why work 125 only?)?

Have you checked your energy adjustments of your box?
I only see there four entries whether LAN1-4 should be on/off/auto, where on my Box all LAN1-4 are switched to "auto" (default was "always on" for LAN1 and "auto" for the rest).

what energy adjustments? where can i find them ?!?
I have only the Energy Monitor tab to show info about energy consumption in my 7140, i have no place to adjust those options and absolutely never saw the LAN1-4 manual settings to on/off/auto...

Are there any Options like "Show Expert settings" on your 7140? Is this option checked.

Yes, I have "expert settings" enabled...
but maybe the 7140 doesn't have options like the newer 7170 or 7270 or others...

Well, it seems to have at least an automatic LAN control to save energy.

Whether there are any options to switch this feature manually on/off, I do not know. But you may have a look at the (English) info about the original AVM FW:
annex a (version 39.04.47, build 08.01.07)
annex b

And here the info on the German FW (version 30.04.33, build 07.06.04) which seems to have more options:
System: unbenutzte LAN-Schnittstellen werden stromsparend betrieben
System: lastabhängige dynamische Taktanpassung zur Optimierung des Energieverbrauchs
system: unused LAN ports are operated in energy saving mode
system: load-balanced dynamic cycle adjustment to optimize energy comsumption
Be careful which FW you install on your Fritzbox, though!

I've seen strange events on my box:
Code:
kernel: [avm_power]event: 27 not handled
Any idea what it mean?

@Cuma
I noticed that these event 27 appears when you use the phones connected to the fritz, one when you open the line and when you close it...

That's it! It appears wirt POTS and ISDN phones. Thanks ramik
