USBroot - Stick hat Angst und versteckt sich?!?

Hallo,

ich kämpfe hier mit dem USB-Root. Mein Stick wird irgendwie nicht korrekt gemountet, da scheinbar irgendwie nicht schnell genug ist?!?

Ohne USBroot on ist der Stick /dev/sda1,

startet usbroot mit /dev/sda1 mountet es irgendetwas leeres (nicht vorhandenes) auf /dev/sda1 nach /data und der Stick ist unter /dev/sdb1 ereichbar.

Stelle ich usbroot auf /dev/sdb1 so findet usbroot den stick nicht, der Stick ist unter /dev/sda1 ansprechbar...

Kann das Problem bestätigen - ist auf meiner FB 7170 auch so. Freetz SVN 2250, USBroot 0.1, 1GB USB Stick mit ext3, der jetzt auch problemlos als solcher angezeigt wird, da ja als Fallback noch die Firmware im Flash ist, die zur Umstellen auf USBroot notwendig ist.

Any hints?

Was wird an Infos benötigt, um den Fehler einzukreisen?

Hast Du/Ihr noch andere USB-Geräte dranstecken? Wurde Syslog mit als Paket gewählt und können somit ein paar Logs zur Verfügung gestellt werden?
Die Ausgabe von "dmesg" wäre ein guter Anfang.

Eine serielle Konsole ist nicht zufällig vorhanden?

Jup - Box starten, einloggen, Stick ist /dev/sda, /etc/init.d/rc.usbroot store /dev/sda1:/usbroot, dann reboot -> usbroot läuft nicht, Stick ist /dev/sdb. Läßt sich umgekehrt unschönerweise genau so reproduzieren. Hätte ich nicht zu arbeiten und Kinder, dann könnte ich das den ganzen Tag machen ;-)

Falsche Uhrzeit jetzt, dmesg kommt heute abend nach Reboot. Es ist nur der Stick angesteckt, der eine ganze Zeit auch problemlos funktionierte. Ich habe meines Wissens nix verändert und stellte plötzlich fest, daß die rrdtools nicht mehr liefen - die sind auf dem Stick installiert, im Flash nicht.
Weitere Wünsche bzgl. logs?
