Sorry, my German is not good enough.
All of you having problems with their Fritz!box like: Not syncing - loosing sync often - often or constant reboots, this is probably the solution for you also.
---- You must "carefully" unsolder and replace all the internal electrolytic capacitors (15 total) ----
The Fritz!box has a lot of internal PWM power regulators to convert power from 12V (external) to 5V-3.3V-48V for all internal sections.
They all have a weak point. If their electrolytic capacitors start leaking (from heat inside the box or simply over time) they start malfunction, and problems start appearing....
In my case, my 7270 started having problems with land calls. A-lot of poping-cracking noises in the line, and in the end it rebooted when i tried to make a land-call. Finally it also stopped syncing for good 2 months ago.
I tried all software solutions (reflash, recovery, lower firmware etc), nothing worked. I had to use it with an external modem over LAN1.
This weekend i thought this could fix it. The solution is a bit difficult, but made my Fritz!box work again like new. Sync is super-fast now, and Land-Calling works again with no problems.
If you - or a friend of yours have a small de-soldering pump and a soldering iron (max 40W for both), it is a 1-2 hour job.
For Fritz!box V1 the list of capacitors you have to buy is:
1000 μF 16V 3 pcs
220 μF 10V 1 pcs
100 μF 10V 3 pcs
68 μF 16V 1 pcs (use 100 μF if you cannot find 68 μF)
47 μF 16V 1 pcs
33 μF 16V 1 pcs
10 μF 35V 1 pcs
10 μF 100V 2 pcs
4,7 μF 100V 2 pcs
For other versions i cannot tell, you must first open the box and see what you need.
All capacitors must be industrial temperature grade (105 C) and specifically for the 1000 μF, LOW profile (max 13 mm high).
Be very careful to place them in their original polarity.
If someone wants to translate this to German, go ahead.
Good luck, Asxetos.
