[Resolved] - Configure Internet Telephony - Fritz!Box 7050 Annexe B

Hi all,

I'm a french student and I do a work placement in a company based on Portugal. They've bought the Fritz!Box 7050 Fon for ISDN.

It's the first time I setup ToIP/VoIP.
They use a VoIPBuster account and they don't have a VoIP-in number.

Yesterday, I've trying to use telephony but it doesn't work.
I've modified telephony configuration but I've not tested since. I don't want to block communication.

I've relying Fon1/S0 to the terminal device.

I would like to know if my configuration is correct.
The country code configuration is correct?
The main phone number is correctly chosen ?
Where can I found a manual for dialing rules?
What does it mean "Carrier prefixes" ?

I've resolved a part of my problem. National calls work fine but not International calls.

I've trying to make a call to France (0033) on a home number and gsm number but it's a busy ring.
I've this error :

Error in Internet telephony during connection with 332XXXXXXXX over stun.voipbuster.com. Reason for error: User not found (404)

My configuration :
Internet number : 1
Username : my_username
Password : my_password
Registrar : stun.voipbuster.com
Proxy server: sip.voipbuster.com

I've checked "Use country code"
country code: 351
IDD : 00


I've trying to setup a dialing rule for 0033 to Internet but I've the same error.

Please, what's the problem? Thanks.

registrar is wrong. Must be sip.voipbuster.com - have a look at this:

I have taken a screenshot of my configuration. It's webcalldirect but I use voicecheap-server. It's all betamax. Try a longer number instead of "1". As long as you don't check the box "Use Internet number for registration" it's just a FritzBox internal number. Try "1234567890" or something else.

Main phone number is correctly chosen if you do want to make your calls per fixed line by default. Only if you have dialing rule for the number you're dialing, VoIP will be used. If you do want to take VoIP by default, take the VoIP number as main phone number.

Carrier prefixes is for call-by-call (only used in PSTN, very popular in Germany, don't know about other countries). Try help buttons on pages "dialing rules" and "carrier prefixes".

Could you please move the pictures to the forum server? You can change the first posting by hitting "ändern" there, then "erweitert" and "Anhänge verwalten" to attach the pictures. ("Durchsuchen" means search, "Hochladen" upload.)
Your posting would become a lot more readable with thumbnails instead of the big pictures.

I've resolved my problem.
Now, national and international calls work fine

I've disabled "Use country code" and enabled "Keep International Direct Dialing (IDD) prefix".

EDIT : How can I put "[resolved]" on my first post title ?

please go to your 1st Post, then "Ändern" -> "Erweitert" and write "[Solved] in the "Titel".
