Hi guys,
I have been trying to convert my Cisco 7945G phone from SCCP to SIP protocol, but despite consulting various forums, tutorials, and a tech-savvy friend, I haven't been successful. The phone successfully obtains an IP address from my DHCP server, but it fails to retrieve files from my TFTP server and doesn't upgrade.
Here's my setup: I have an Ethernet cable connected from my PC to a POE injector for the phone. I have set a static IP address (192.168.1.70) on my PC, configured the DHCP server with the address 192.168.1.71, and specified option 150 to point to my server's IP. I have also entered my default router IP and subnet information. Both TFTP and DHCP services are bound to my PC's IP address. The phone is in upgrade mode and has been rebooted multiple times.
Although the phone connects to the DHCP server, it doesn't connect to the TFTP server. I've ensured that no ports are blocking TFTP or DHCP, the Windows firewall is disabled, and TFTP security is set to the minimum .
Does anyone have any ideas on why the phone is not able to connect to the TFTP server? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
