Fritzbox 3270 v1 suche Firmware oder Recovery (8MB version)

Hallo,
hat noch jemand irgendeine Firmware für die 3270 v1 mit dem 8MB großen Speicher? Bei AVM bekommt man bloß noch die Firmware für die v2 und v3 (beide 16MB).

Eine 3270v1 mit 8MB NOR-Flash gab es doch m.W.n. offiziell überhaupt nicht oder doch? Das wäre dann ja eine Rarität aus der "Nullserie"...

Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Hab die Box mal geöffnet und den Speicher IC gesucht. Ist doch ein 128Mb (16MB) Flash ST M29W128GH verbaut... lag ich falsch mit meiner 8MB Vermutung.
Dann ist das auch nicht die Lösung für mein Problem beim flashen. Recovery von v2 bricht ab weil es nicht in den Speicher passt. Flashen über ADAM2 des v2 kernel.image bricht bislang auch immer ab. Letzte Hoffnung ist dann wohl das flashen des kernels in Teilen. Wenn das auch nicht klappt, dann wandert die Box auf den Schrott.

Vermutlich solltest Du dann den Speicher für MTD1 schrittweise (ich würde schon mindestens 4K-Schritte wählen) von den derzeit verzeichneten 0 Byte (eine ordentliche Ausgabe des Environments wäre ja mal nett, wie das mit "RETR env" funktionieren sollte (auch bei einer NOR-Box), hatten wir gerade erst) auf einen Wert zu erhöhen, bei dem dann das Update (auch wenn es "kernel.image" heißt, ist das eine Kombination aus Linux-Kernel und SquashFS-Image) mit seinen ca. 7,5 MB überhaupt eine Chance hat, in den ausgewiesenen Speicher zu passen.

Bei dieser Box hat irgendjemand am Environment herumgespielt und es fehlen wohl (soweit man das aus dem Gekrakel in #5 ersehen kann) die Informationen zur Aufteilung des vorhandenen NOR-Flashs. Zumindest scheint aber der Bootloader (der liegt eben auch dort) nicht beschädigt zu sein, wenn FTP zur EVA noch geht.

Du brauchst also eine Liste der bei einer solchen Box normalerweise vorhandenen Flash-Partitionen (und zwar aller!) und mußt die dann schön (von Hand) in das Environment eintragen. Erst dann macht es irgendeinen Sinn, ein Schreibkommando für ein Image aufrufen zu wollen, egal ob per Recovery, ruKernelTool oder von Hand (wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin anhand der Ausgabe in #8, ob Du das tatsächlich von Hand probieren solltest).

Sorry für meine blöden Fragen aber ich mach das erst seit 2 Tage...

Bei den Ausleseversuchen der meisten enviroment Variablen kommt nur:
501 enviroment variable not set

Beim Versuch diese (z.B. mtd0, mtd1) mittels SETENV zu setzen kommt nur:

Was muss ich noch tun um diese setzen zu können. DEBUG ist eingeschaltet und TYPE ist auf binary gestellt.

Du hast dich aber gar nicht an den Link in #10 gehalten.
mtd5 und mtd6 hat eine FB3270 nicht.
Variablen wie bluetooth, country oder webgui_pass gibt es nicht mal in einer FB7490. Wie kommst du auf die?

Zusammenfassend kann man sagen:
Alle Variablen bis bootserport gehen (die ersten 7) und ab cpufrequency geht nichts mehr.

Was mir noch komisch auffällt:

Das ist auf jeden Fall alles sehr komisch.
Mal sehen ob PeterPawn da eine Idee hat, woran das liegt und was man da machen kann.

Nachdem das ja nun offenbar eine 3270v2 ist (hwrev 137), würde ich mir als erstes mal die richtigen Werte raussuchen und dann Stück für Stück die Variablen setzen. Ob die MTD-Einträge sich tatsächlich setzen lassen, kann ich auch nicht definitiv sagen, an einen Dump des Bootloaders ist hier ja nicht zu denken.

Ich würde noch probieren, ob der "Speichermodus" einen Unterschied macht (MEDIA FLSH vs. MEDIA SDRAM) und ob sich die Fehlermeldung bei einem ungültigen Variablennamen (die gültigen stehen in der tffs.h aus den Kernel-Quellen) ändert, damit man einen Anhaltspunkt hat, ob die Box nur das Setzen der mtd-Variablen ablehnt wegen weiterer Prüfungen oder ob das generell beim Setzen nicht erkannt wird. Man ändert halt nicht jeden Tag die Aufteilung des Flash-Speichers ... und wenn AVM das selbst mal macht (wie bei der Reorganisation bei der Zusammenlegung von Kernel und Filesystem), wird das vermutlich nicht über "SETENV" sondern über das Schreiben eines neuen Bootloaders gelöst. Anyway ... erst mal ermitteln, ob das Schreibkommando generell funktionieren würde für eine Partition bei diesem Bootloader.

Damit sich das nicht doch noch an irgendwelchen Prüfungen stört, würde ich als erstes mal die "flashsize" setzen ... möglicherweise wird getestet, ob die Partition innerhalb der Start- und Ende-Adresse des Flashspeichers (0x90000000 + "flashsize") liegt und deshalb das Kommando nicht akzeptiert. Ich würde mich auch nicht darauf verlassen, daß der Bootloader den Wert jedesmal aufs Neue liest, wenn er ihn testen will, daher würde ich nach dem Setzen der Flash-Größe die Box neu starten.

Dann die Partitionen in der Reihenfolge "bootloader", "tffs1", "tffs2", "filesystem", "kernel" setzen, ggf. nach Bootloader und TFFS noch mal neu starten. In MTD-Nummern wäre die vorstehende Reihenfolge dann 2, 3, 4, 1, 0 - funktioniert das auch nicht (aber generell kann man mtd-Variablen setzen, was ja zu testen wäre), würde ich noch einmal "von unten nach oben" den Aufbau des Flashs versuchen einzutragen, also 0, 2, 1, 3, 4. Auch wenn mtd0 beim Layout mit Kernel+Filesystem in einer Partition nicht mehr wirklich gebraucht wird, würde ich die immer mit einrichten.

Da wurde nicht zufällig mit dem ruKernelTool mal "clear MTD3/MTD4" gemacht? Ich bin etwas irritiert, daß da so viele Variablen fehlen. Aber ich verstehe ohnehin nicht, warum da so viele "GETENV"-Versuche anstelle eines einzelnen "RETR env" stehen ... funktioniert das "RETR env" nicht? Was kommt denn als Fehlermeldung?

Vielleicht findet sich ja auch noch jemand mit einer 3270v2 und einem Bootloader 1.467, der mal einen Dump des Loaders macht, damit man sehen kann, was da eigentlich im Not-Environment als letzter Instanz steht. Theoretisch müßte sich die Box beim Fehlen fast des kompletten Environments mit der MAC-Adresse 00:04:0E:FF:FF:01 melden, wenn sie mit dem Not-Environment arbeitet.

Ich weiß nur nicht, ob sich die Investition in weitere Untersuchungen lohnt, wenn der Boxeigentümer ihr schon den nahenden Tod angedroht hat (#3, letzter Satz) ... da viel Zeit zu investieren, wenn am Ende doch aufgegeben wird, wäre vielleicht auch nicht so klug. Da würde ich schon gerne vor weiteren Schreibarbeiten wissen wollen, wie ernst das genommen wird und wie es mit dem Durchhaltewillen aussieht - uninteressant ist das sicherlich nicht, hatten wir m.W. schon lange nicht mehr in dieser extremen Form, wo man erst mal den Bootloader "reparieren" muß.

Den oberen Teil bis "quote SYST" macht ruKernelTool beim starten von ADAM2 automatisch und kommt nicht von mir.
Bei annex ist mir ein copy paste Fehler passiert. Hab es korrigiert, wie es tatsächlich rausgekommen ist.

Hab jetzt noch mal ein paar Vorschläge von PeterPawn ausprobiert, was ich meine verstanden zu haben, aber leider kommen immer die gleichen Fehlermeldungen. Glaube zwar nicht, dass es mir an Durchhaltewillen fehlt aber als "Einsteiger-Projekt" scheint mir die ganze Sache doch mittlerweile etwas zu kompliziert zu werden, da mir einfach das Basiswissen fehlt :-(

Ob da ein clear MTD3/MTD4 durchgeführt wurde kann ich nicht sagen, hab die Box in diesem Zustand in der Bucht (als "gebraucht/funktionsfähig") erstanden.

Die Anmerkung von informerex ist schon richtig. Der Aufwand lohnt bei so einer (alten) Box wohl eher nicht mehr. Die Zeit kann man sinnvoller investieren...
