Fritz repeater: stop work

Hello,

I have a Fritz repeater N/G with the last firmware from AVM.

My WLAN repeater after 2 or 3 hours stops working.... Its disconnect from the Fritz 7270 and it impossible to reach trought the web interface.

I have to disconnect it, wait 5 minutes and connect again!!

The repeater is very hot, and, in Portugal (here I am) the wethear is hot (35º-40ºC) !!


Any ideia ?

PS - There is no WLAN traffic and I try with WEP, WPA and no encriptation (without success).

The repeater should never become 'very hot'. If it is so, try to get a replacement, assuming it is not positioned in a hot corner or covered by something.

Thanks for your reply...
It's very hot, wherever i put it...
I cannot touch it for more than 2 seconds!!.... very hot...
It works for 2-3 hours and hang up !!

Last night I leave it near a open window, and it works all the night !
