Hi to everybody. First of all, sorry for posting here in english language, but unfortunately I don't know your language (I'm italian).
I'm writing here, in a german forum, because I need to test a little application that I wrote las week, on a "genuine" german firmware Fritz!Box.
As many of you know, the Child Protection feature (available on new firmwares) limits the Internet usage for the kids.
Unfortunately, you know also that the Fritz!Box, at the end of the time, drops out the connection to the user without any warning!! So the kids becomes angry, and continuosly ask us for the "remaining time", because they don't know how much time they spent, and how much time is remaining.
This is why I wrote a little and compact application, to let my doughter to know the remaining time directly on its workstation. Now all is working fine, my daughter is happy because she can manage itself the "surfing time", and finally there is peace at home...
My software does not need installation (it's only a small <100Kb executable file, thanks to a massive usage of API calls). It does not need also to be configured, because it contact the Fritz!box at its default DNS name (fritz.box).
I provided for both the english firmware and german firmware connection strings, so - I believe - it should work on any Fritz!Box without problem.
But, of course, I tested it only on an english Fritz!Box (I don't own a true german Fritz!Box) so I can't test if it works fine on german routers.
This is why I'm writing here...
I'm looking for someone, running the "Child Protection" feature on its Fritz!Box, that like to test my program.
Please contact me when intersted.
Thanks in advance for any help.
