[Frage] [English] Willy.tel VoIP with Gigaset Hub

Hey,

Asking in this forum to see if anyone is familiar with with Willy.tel's VoIP service and third party equipment from Gigaset. From willy.tel we have:

SIP-Benutzername, SIP-Passwort, SIP-Registrar, and SIP-Proxy

Unfortunately we cannot use the Fritzbox provided as we have our own router/firewall running pfsense. My thought was to get a Gigaset N510 IP Pro, forward SIP ports in the router and plug the SIP settings to the Gigaset.

Has anyone here tested Gigaset hardware with Willytel with success?

Do you know what STUN Server settings I need?

Willytel don't give support for Gigaset and only provides this link

Here are my settings - I'm unsure about "registration server" and STUN settings:

You are free to use every STUN Server you find/want/trust
Examples: stun.ekiga.net or stun.1und1.de ...
Standard port: 3478

No outboundproxy until someone tell something different


PDF ( for Router )
The big difference is - Router makes a NAT and is not in the NAT
LAN clients like an VoIP phone are inside a NAT
... and STUN means:
1. making a connection from inside to outside
( public ip/portnumber in SIP/RTP )
2. hold it open
3. use it for outgoing and incoming signaling
...normaly a firewall allow this

EDIT: Registration Server == SIP Registrar
...not the proxy.
