Hello all!
Being a *very* satisfied owned of Box fon products due to their stellar performance in gaming, NAT, P2P and features, I am now considering buying a used 7270 to replace my aging 7140, mainly due to the fact that wifi of the latter is 802.11g only.
I have found one 7270 which branded from 1&1 (German ISP I presume). Looking around in this forum it seems that this can be used in both PSTN and ISDN connections, is that correct?
Furthermore is it possible to both debrand it and switch it to English firmware? If so, are there any specific conditions for these changes to be possible? For example should the existing firmware be no higher than a specific version for example?
Failed to inform that the router after debranding etc will be used at Greece, on my PSTN (Annex A) connection. I do not foresee a technical issue here if this is a universal (ie both PSTN and ISND-compatible model), but then again as a network engineer I've seen stranger things at play...
Thanks in advance for any information provided.
