Quick update, through cross-checking I spotted that the kernel dumps produced by savesystem script were full of /dev/zeros... I spotted it because 96995b58d4cbf6aaa9041b4f00c7f6ae matched the empty sums from my direct cat'ing of the reserved partitions. I will see if I can debug the script...

What Fritz OS version do you have? You can find it after you login on the box, near top right. Which Kabel provider/branding do you have on the box? I have version 6.24, in standard or advanced view its possible to change the port speed. Check screenshot.
