Yep, we share the same thought. Somehow O2 only offers DSL4000 and DSL8000... I guess in this case switching provider is not likely to help, either. Maybe I will think about Kabel... Anyways, thank you, guys :p
Thanks for your answers! It's very useful information that the problem should lie within the attenuation from the provider to my place, although there is pretty much nothing I can do about it...
Any chance this could be solved or improved by the provider? Anything...
I am using the O2 DSL16000 with a Fritzbox 7240. Somehow the bandwidth is only around 7000kbps. I guess there might be a way to locate the problem by checking the DSL-Informationen from the router. I tried to search the forum for similar threads but my German is too bad to understand anything...
